Privacy on circapp.io

Last updated 28 October 2026.

This page covers this website, circapp.io, and email sent to circ. What circ collects on publishers' sites is described in How it works, and in each publisher's own privacy policy.

Analytics

This site uses circ itself, set up the way a publisher's site would be, with link clicks and member status turned off. When you visit a page, it records:

It receives your IP address as part of the connection, uses it to work out your country, and doesn't keep it. To count unique readers each day, it turns your IP address and browser into a code using a secret that's deleted at the end of the day. After that, the code can't be traced back to your IP address or linked to your visits on other days. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it can't recognise you from one day to the next.

This data isn't used to build a profile of anyone, and it isn't sold or shared. It's kept for as long as this site uses circ.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which handles each request, your IP address included, in order to deliver the page. circ keeps no log of those requests. This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

Email

Mail to hello@circapp.io is forwarded by Cloudflare's Email Routing to the inbox of the person who runs circ. Your message and address are kept for as long as needed to answer you and follow up, and are never added to a mailing list or shared.

Questions and requests

To ask what's held about you, or to have an email you sent deleted, write to hello@circapp.io. Analytics records hold no name, email or IP address, so they can't be looked up by any of those.
